Broadcast Academy Incorporated is looking for interns and volunteers to work in various positions within our organization. If you enjoy music, broadcasting, technology, and the arts we want you to come on board. You will take part in the daily operation of the organization and our internet radio network. You will also have the opportunity to work with us during our workshops, showcases, and other community events.
Our interns will work with industry experts and have access to our career developing workshops. Our interns and volunteers may work at one or more of our partner radio stations and other partner companies to develop your skills. Working at these radio stations will provide invaluable education and experience that may lead to a full time position.
Interns will have the opportunity to develop their own internet radio program which could be hosted on our broadcast network The Soundcheck iRadio Network. Applicants should have a minimum of 12 hours weekly to work with us. You are required to have a computer and internet access. Personal transportation is preferred. If you are a student we will provide a letter of completion once you have fulfilled your internship responsibilities. Volunteers will receive similar recognition. These are non-paid positions.
We are happy to announce that we received a letter from the IRS stating they are reviewing our 1023 application and we should hear back soon regarding our 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. This is important to us because we want to ensure our donors can get the tax credit for supporting our organization.
